Beautiful Sentences I've Come Across

Every once in a while I stumble across a gem of a sentence...be it something I read or hear.  When that happens, I like to jot them down.  Usually I do this in my phone...but recently my phone decided to be an asshole and delete that note and I lost them to the black abyss forever.  In an effort to prevent that from happening again, I will record those sentences here--that way I can share them with you as well.

"I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things.  I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you."  (The Fault in Our Stars, John Green)

"They're on a witch hunt for a witch they will never find as they will never look in the mirror."  (My buddy Russ)

"He is starting to blush from what he's said, and he's actually too shy to lean down to me, so I find myself lifting to kiss him, keeping my eyes open because I want to see his surprise and see his happiness because there's no way for me to see or even feel my own."  (Will Grayson, Will Grayson, John Green)

"She had the kind of fingers you want to interlace with your own."  (Paper Towns, John Green)

"It is so hard to leave--until you leave.  And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world."  (Paper Towns, John Green)
