Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, & Lauren Myracle
Summary: Sparkling white snowdrifts, beautiful presents wrapped in ribbons, and multicolored lights glittering in the night through the falling snow. A Christmas Eve snowstorm transforms one small town into a romantic haven, the kind you see only in movies. Well, kinda. After all, a cold and wet hike from a stranded train through the middle of nowhere would not normally end with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger. And no one would think that a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow would lead to love with an old friend. Or that the way back to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks. (taken from the Overview found on Barnes & Noble dot com)
My Critique: My very first e-book! I checked this book out via my library's e-book lending platform, OverDrive. Side note: It's awesome, you should check it out here. You should all know of my love for John Green by this point. I'm slowly reading my way through all his books. I saw this one and when I noticed two other renowned young adult authors too...well, I knew I had to read it. And I'm glad I did. This book is broken down into three short stories...each story written by one of the authors but all intertwining together in the end. Very pleasant and quick read. A little holiday enjoyment.
Short Stories: The Jubilee Express (Maureen Johnson); A Cheertastic Christmas (John Green); The Patron Saint of Pigs (Lauren Myracle)
"There is nothing about a bad situation that fourteen hyper cheerleaders can't worsen." (The Jubilee Express) hahahahahahahahahahaha
"...I had never before had a first kiss with a girl I loved." (A Cheertastic Christmas) awwwww
